To the editor: I’ve been setting my recycle bin out on the top of my cement retaining wall for The Dalles Disposal to pick up since recycling started years ago. Recently, instead of putting it back, they have been tossing it in the street, close to the curb between two cars.

During the week of August 4th to August 10th the contractor will be building construction accesses and begin shoring construction. Expect construction activity on shoulders throughout the project site. Traffic on I84 will be reduced to one lane in both EB and WB direction. Expect construction traffic on US97. There should be no delays on either US97 or I84.
