Hood River Valley’s slim chances of qualifying for the Class 5A boys state soccer playoffs ended Oct. 27 at home, where the Eagles and Putnam played to a 1-1 tie in a Northwest Oregon Conference match.
The Dalles High School boys soccer team came one win from accomplishing its goal of advancing to the 16-team state playoffs Saturday, when it lost 2-1 in overtime against Seaside High School.
Horizon Christian’s boys soccer season ended Saturday evening at Wilsonville High School, where Grand View Christian came from behind late and ended up winning the District 7 third-place match on penalty kicks.
Horizon soccer on Monday, Oct. 22 beat Damascus Christian in penalty kicks of the league semifinal matchup to advance to the league championship on Saturday, Oct. 27.
