Free news: The Summer Food Service Program, also known as "Summer Meals," offering free, nutritious meals and snacks to all children and teens aged 1-18. The program runs Monday through Friday, from June 22 through Aug. 21.

In the heart of downtown Hood River, a historic building is being re-imagined for modern wellness. The Union Building was built by L.C. Baldwin Construction generations ago and now houses Outbound Wellness.
FREE: Six local organizations joined together to donate $20,000 to the Columbia Gorge Food Bank and help address increased need in the community: Chenowith Water PUD, the City of The Dalles, Hood River Electric & Internet Co-op, Northern Wasco County People’s Utility District, QLife, and Wasco Electric Cooperative presented the donation on Dec. 18.
