Firefighters prepare to extinguish a motorhome buring on Sixth Street in the area of Bi-Mart Sunday, March 18, at 11:20 a.m. Smoke and fire were visable and the vehicle unoccupied when crews was dispatched. According to witnesses on scene, the fire began in the engine compartment. Sixth Street was closed to all traffic until the fire was out.

A firefighter with Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue knocks down flames consuming a fully-engulfed motorhome near the corner of J. and 12th Streets in The Dalles Saturday morning at 4 a.m. Firefighters cleared from the scene at 5:45 a.m. Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue was assisted on scene by Dallesport Fire department crews.

The westbound lanes of Interstate 84 east of Mosier were briefly closed Wednesday morning while firefighters extinguished a motorhome fire that spread to a grassy area adjacent to the freeway.
