Oregon kids have easy access to tobacco. That’s not surprising since e-cigarettes aren’t taxed in Oregon and our cigarette tax is below average. Cheap tobacco is one reason why 2,100 Oregon kids will become new daily smokers this year.

Columbia Gorge Habitat for Humanity is an organization of volunteers who build basic homes with donations to purchase materials and donated labor in partnership with the selected candidate.

To the editor: I have found the letters about the oil trains and the city council fairly interesting. I just have one question, why is the city council wasting its time? Doesn’t it have more important, and useful, things to look into?
