On the evening of May 3, the Greenneck Daredevils will team up with Friends of the Columbia Gorge for a night of music, inspiration and information on how the public can help save seven places in the Gorge for the next generation, said a press release.
Hood River Holidays — that time of year when downtown is transformed into a festive wonderland of twinkle lights and holiday cheer — kicks off on Friday, Dec. 2.

The Historic Mint Building and Fort Dalles Days Steering Committee announces the 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off and Benefit sponsored by The Mint. The highlight of this event, which will be July 11 from 6-10 p.m. in the Historic Mint Building located at 710 E. Second St., is that all proceeds will benefit Providence Hospice of the Gorge Children’s Grief Groups.
Hood River Valley High School wrestlers traveled to two major tournaments since school ended for the holiday break. Last weekend the team loaded into vans and dove down to Nevada for the Reno Tournament of Champions, which is dubbed the toughest tournament in the country.
