Gorge Community Foundation (GCF) is honoring one leader while welcoming another. Lynn Everroad, operations director and founding member, retired this spring before passing away on June 17 in Stevenson.

BINGEN — Big Britches Productions has received 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and will begin full nonprofit operation on April 1. The community theater company operates at the Bingen Theater, presenting five productions annually and drawing audiences from Trout Lake to Parkdale, The Dalles to Stevenson.

THE DALLES — Makerspace 97058, a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit, will open soon in The Dalles to provide artists, makers and creatives with shared space for hands-on projects, classes and community connection.
