The Fort Dalles Floozies and Friends will perform a melodrama, “Double Crossed in The Dalles,” written by local author Linda Beiter, at The Dalles Civic Auditorium theater. The dates are July 18 and 19, with a matinee July 20. Auditions will be at the Civic theater on Friday, May 30, at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, May 31, at 10 a.m., and Sunday, June 1, at 1 p.m.

To the editor: Friday’s downtown fashion show was outstanding! Congratulations to Luise Langheinrich and all involved. It was a fun evening, highlighting many of the wonderful businesses we still have downtown, supported by several business sponsors, and benefitting our local food bank.
