Riding the range, herding cattle, learning to throw a rope and to handle a branding iron, spending a lifetime in the saddle, but somehow never hearing the term “buckaroo” until he was arrested and haled into a a court room, was the outstanding statement of Roscoe Wilson.

District Attorney Francis V. Galloway was called on the witness stand in the circuit court room this morning by Barnett Goldstein, attorney for the defense, in an effort to find out what, if any attempt had been made by Wasco county authorities to apprehend Charlie Foote in connection with the robbery of the Mosier Valley bank last November.

Ted Mandronas, accused of being the third man in the Mosier Valley bank robbery last November, was found guilty of robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon by a jury in the circuit court at 6 o’clock this morning. The jury had been out since 10:30 last night.
