At the recent District G Lions meeting in Hood River, Past District Governor , Steve Oliver, presented Odell Lions Co-President, Chuck Bugge, with a Lions Club International Foundation check for $75,000.
The Dalles Wahtonka High School Key Club was recently awarded a 2013 Tradition of Compassion Award for Outstanding Community Service Organization by the Mid Columbia Health Foundation. As part of this award, they choose a local charity to receive an additional donation from the foundation.

The Gorge Technology Alliance is hosting six robotics trainings for students around the gorge this summer. There will be two introductory and four advanced trainings in the towns of Stevenson, White Salmon/ Bingen, Hood River, The Dalles and Moro.
