Players representing the Sherman High School defending 1A state champion boys’ basketball team were recognized for their accomplishments at the Wasco Memorial Day Celebration. In its 36th year, the Northwest Cherry Festival will look a little different in 2015 as it moves to First Street. Expanding to three days, the festival will officially begin Friday, April 24, at 2 p.m. with a tribute to the community, but events surrounding the festival stretch out over a week.
