THE DALLES — Six new Columbia Gorge CASA’s (Court Appointed Special Advocates for children) were sworn in by Judge Marion Weatherford in The Dalles on June 25: Tony Ackerman, Sara Crook, Kristin Daly, Alison Knivila, Dan McNertheny, and Steve Schmidt.
THE GORGE — Columbia Gorge CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), in partnership with Adventist Health Columbia Gorge Foundation, announces the return of its annual Playhouse Raffle, this year featuring a beautifully crafted, custom-built playhouse designed and constructed by students at Hood River Valley High School (HRVHS).
THE GORGE — Columbia Gorge CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is inviting community members to learn more about how they can make a difference in the lives of children in the child welfare system. The nonprofit will host two upcoming CASA 101 and Happy Hour events at local venues, where attendees can discover how to become involved in advocating for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.
