Letter to the editor: Vote Richardson

To the editor:

As you study the issues and ponder the candidates running for office in this November election, I invite you to seriously consider casting your vote for State Representative Dennis Richardson as our next governor of Oregon. A Vietnam veteran and graduate of the J. Reuben Clark School of Law at Brigham Young University, Dennis Richardson settled in southern Oregon. He and his wife have lived there since 1979 and it is where they raised eight children. His retirement from a law practice in 2002 has found him in Salem as a state representative who has served with integrity. He has a bedrock of principle based on the core values of our US Constitution, a clear vision for our state’s vibrant future and an ability to build a consensus so the vision can be realized.
