When I consider the scope of required skills, experience and background one would look for in a candidate for Wasco County Commissioner, it is clear that Bridget Bailey will bring an impressive resume’ to the County Board of Commissioners. In fact, we are fortunate to have a candidate of her competence seeking the office of Commissioner. Equally important is a candidate’s ability to listen and communicate effectively with constituents, staff, and prospective businesses. Wasco County has some tough issues to tackle and resolving them will require creativity, vision, leadership, and transparency so that public support does not fall victim to lack of information. Bridget Bailey has demonstrated in her professional life that she appreciates the value of collaboration and accountability. With her broad experience (international commerce, law practice, agricultural innovation) she will bring a fresh perspective complimented by her deep roots as a Wasco County native. I encourage you to vote for Bridget Bailey for Wasco County Commissioner.
