Letter to the Editor: Jamie represents values

Jamie McLeod-Skinner has shown that she won’t hide from the people of eastern Oregon. She has traveled the entire district this summer, going to parades, fairs, and public meetings. She is listening to people from all walks of life who actually live here.

She recognizes that people in this district have diverse opinions and perspectives and it will be her job to represent them, not corporate political donors.

The last time I recall Greg Walden holding a public meeting in The Dalles was in April 2017, in the middle of the week, in the middle of the workday.

Jamie will work for reasonable, common-ground solutions that will provide real benefit to rural Oregon. I want a representative that supports our interests and values and has the integrity and courage to show up in our district. I’m voting for Jamie McLeod-Skinner.
