Funeral homes often submit obituaries as a service to the families they are assisting. However, we will be happy to accept obituaries from family members pending proper verification of the death.
Lisa Marie Griffith passed away on Sept. 15, 2019. Lisa was born in The Dalles, Ore., on Sept. 7, 1968, and was 51 years of age at the time of her passing.
Lisa was born to Jack and Dolores Bryan. Lisa was the younger of two children. She was 13 years younger than her sister, Jackie. She grew up in Lyle, where she graduated from Lyle High School in 1986.Â
As an adult, Lisa fell in love with the outdoors. You could always find her hiking in the woods, picking mushrooms, or looking for unique rocks. She loved to browse antique stores and find special treasures. Her smile and contagious laugh would light up any room she walked in to. The love she had for her boys was infinite. She always told them, she loved them to the moon and back a million times.Â
Lisa will be sorely missed by her two children Brad and Bryan Griffith, her father Jack Bryan, her sister Jackie Dornfeld, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Dolores Bryan.Â
A celebration of life for Lisa was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, at the Lyle Lions Community Center.Â
