Hood River netters to face busy schedule

The Eagles lost two more league matches in straight sets this past week and were scheduled to play a road match Oct. 10 at Centennial. Those two teams play again at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Hood River, where the Eagles will also face Parkrose at 4:15 p.m.

Hood River Valley is behind in the number of league matches it has played, but a busy schedule should take care of that the next few weeks. The Eagles have seven matches in the final 14 days of the regular season, which ends for them on Oct. 25 at home against La Salle Prep.

The top four teams in the NWOC, as well as two more at large teams (based on state ranking), will qualify for the 2022 Class 5A state volleyball playoffs.
