The Dalles girls basketball team made the playoffs fir the first time in 10 years.

THE DALLES — The Dalles High Riverhawks girls basketball lost, 48-28, to the No. 4-ranked La Grande High Tigers (19-4) in a March 7 girls playoff game at La Grande High School.

The Tigers led 10-6 after the first quarter and then they extended their advantage to 24-10 at halftime. La Grande built a 31-14 lead after three.
