HOOD RIVER — The History Museum of Hood River County has a new fundraiser for 2024: A raffle for a seven-night Alaska & Dawes Glacier cruise on the Celebrity Edge, round-trip from Seattle. The package is valued at $7,442.
Tickets are $50 each, with 200 tickets sold, said a museum press release. Tickets are available now at the museum, 300 E. Port Marina Drive.
The drawing will be held May 16 at the museum, and you do not need to be present to win.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the museum’s mission of celebrating Hood River County and the Gorge area’s diverse cultural heritage and preserving its story, said the press release.
The cruise departs Aug. 16. Special guests will be Cindi Rang, celebrity quilter and owner of The Fabric Patch, and Alex McGregor, a businessman, author and Pacific Northwest historian.
“You don’t have to be interested in quilting (or even history),” said the press release. “Anyone wanting to experience an Alaskan cruise and enjoy the sights of the Inside Passage will appreciate this special trip.”
