The Gorge Technology Alliance (GTA) and the Columbia Gorge STEM Hub, who share the mission of ensuring equitable access to quality STEM experiences for all students, are collaborating to sponsor competitive robotics throughout the region by providing much-needed grant funds to Oregon and Washington competitive robotics teams.

Many of the Gorge robotics programs are coached by parents, community members or educators who gift their time and typically cover the necessary costs related to team competitions. This school year, coaches are invited to apply for mini-grants to support team-related expenses. These expenses may include: registration fees, material costs or team travel. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis, as funds allow, and reviewed by the STEM Hub’s grant committee. Grant funds were donated by GTA members and earmarked specifically for robotics programs.
