Hood River Valley Christian Church will be hosting their annual Pre-Christmas Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m on Saturday, Nov. 4.
The church, located at 975 Indian Creek Road in Hood River, will have a variety of used Christmas decorations and winter clothes available for purchase in the Fellowship Hall. The church’s lobby will host local artisans and their handmade gifts.
Proceeds go to Valley Christian Women’s Fellowship ministries. Visitors are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for the Christmas Project. Masks are suggested but not required.
Fall Raffle to Support The Next Door Family Services
The Next Door Inc. (TNDI) is hosting their fall raffle, with the grand prize being a five-night stay in a spectacular Parkdale home that sleeps 12. The home has five bedrooms and a view of Mt. Hood. Second place will win a three-night getaway in a sweet, cozy two-bedroom home in Bend. Tickets for the raffle are $25 each and only 200 will be sold. Proceeds will go to TNDI’s Family Services programs, which offer services to improve parenting skills strengthen family relationships and increase awareness of community resources. History Musem’s annual gala Nov. 11
HOOD RIVER — The History Museum of Hood River County hosts its annual gala benefit Saturday, Nov. 11 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at The Ruins, 13 Railroad St., Hood River. Guests will enjoy dinner catered by Hare & Harvest and music by Whiskey Flats Brass Band. Live and silent auction features items and experiences featuring the best in the Gorge.
