THE DALLES — The City of The Dalles Public Works Department will work on a pavement preservation project Oct. 13-22 at E. 13th Street between Washington and Federal streets.
The road will be fully closed during work hours, Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The street will be reopened to the traveling public each evening and on the weekend.
Motorists, bicycles and pedestrians are asked to use detours around the work zone during work hours.
The purpose of this project is to grind out and reshape the road, then pave back approximately 900 feet. This work is expected to restore the pavement structure and provide a smoother and safer roadway.
Please proceed with caution around work areas during construction times and observe all temporary traffic control devices.

El Departamento de Obras Públicas de la Ciudad de The Dalles trabajará en un proyecto de preservación de pavimento del lunes 13 de octubre de 2025 al miércoles 22 de octubre de 2025 en el siguiente lugar:
Calle E 13th entre la calle Washington y la calle Federal. – La calle se mantendrá cerrada durante horas de trabajo, de lunes a jueves de 7:00 a.m. a 5:00 p.m. La calle se volverá a abrir al público todas las noches y los fines de semana.

Se espera que este trabajo callejero restaure la estructura del pavimento y proporcione una carretera más suave y segura.
