FISH Food Bank Garden — Central Gorge Master Gardeners hosts FISH Food Bank garden volunteer work parties every Saturday (excluding holiday weekends) from 9 a.m. to noon. The garden is located behind the FISH Food Bank and Spirit of Grace Church, 1140 Tucker Road, Hood River. Kids are welcome. Urban Renewal Advisory Committee — The City of Hood River is accepting applications to serve on the Urban Renewal Advisory Committee. The committee reviews urban renewal plans and provides recommendations on a prioritized list of potential projects, and reviews all projects and expenditures. Application packets may be obtained at City Hall, City of 211 2nd St., or at cityofhoodriver.gov/urban-renewal/urban-renewal-advisory-committee/.
