The Washington Public Disclosure Commission (PDC), based in Olympia, has issued a list of individuals in the mid-Columbia River Gorge area who have not paid civil penalties levied by the PDC.
At the end of each enforcement hearing, the PDC issues a written order notifying individuals whether penalties were assessed. The fines are due within 30 days, and the PDC staff sends a reminder after 45 days.
Those who do not pay their penalties are referred to the Washington Attorney General for collection after 90 days.
Those the PDC list as not paying penalties include:
Jeffrey Eiesland of the Lyle School Board, $100 penalty for filing his 2003 personal financial affairs statement late;
Debbie Frey of the Lyle School Board, $200 penalty for not filing her 1999 personal financial affairs statement;
Kraig Howard, commissioner with the Klickitat Hospital District No. 2 (Goldendale), $500 penalty for filing his 2002 personal financial affairs statement late.
