Gary Thelen passed away May 10, 2017 at his home in Odell, Ore., surrounded by family. Gary was born Aug. 28, 1934 and was 82 years of age at the time of his passing. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday Aug. 26 at Anderson’s Tribute Center, 1401 Belmont Ave., Hood River. Visit www. David James DeGroot, 64, of Hood River, Ore, died May 17, 2017, at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Beaverton, Ore., after a long battle with heart failure.
