Wasco County Assessor Tim Linn dies

Flags on county buildings including the courthouse, public health, veterans services and public works are flying at half-staff.

“He was a very private man and well-loved by his staff,” Runyon said.

Linn was approaching his 28th anniversary with Wasco County. He was appointed the Wasco County assessor/tax collector in 2003 and elected in 2004.

Linn’s family has been notified of his death and arrangements are pending, according to Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral home.

Linn was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.
