The Northern Wasco County Park and Recreation District Board of Directors has scheduled a special meeting on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at noon for the purpose of receiving a status update from staff in regards to the Thompson Park Pool Project. The meeting will be held at the Northern Wasco County Park and Recreation District Office located at 414 Washington Ave. Suite 1D, The Dalles, Oregon.
In addition, The Northern Wasco County Park and Recreation District Board of Directors has also taken action to regularly schedule meetings at noon on the first Wednesday of each month beginning Wednesday, October 1, 2014.
The noon meetings will be held at the District office, unless otherwise noted, for the single purpose of reviewing the Thompson Park Pool Project. The Pool Project item will also appear on their meeting agenda for the regularly scheduled meetings held on the third Wednesday of each month. The intention of the additional meetings is to provide clear and concise information to be distributed to the Board of Directors and to offer the opportunity to taken any necessary formal action on the project without incurring any delays in the timeline for completion of the project for next summer.
In an effort to provide current and accurate information regarding the progress and developments surrounding the Thompson Park Pool Project, the district will also be distributing weekly updates on the status of the project every Friday. At times the information may be very brief in content, while on other occasions the information may cover a multitude of activities related to the project.
