This capital is available for low to moderate income homeowners to make needed health and safety repairs using local contractors. The loan, with a lien placed against the property, must be paid back at the earliest of: Thirty years, when the house is sold, the title changes hands or the house ceases to be a person’s primary residence.

Monday, Aug. 31, City of The Dalles Public Works will have Court Street, from Third and Fifth and from Fifth to 10th closed to profile off the old surface. Repaving is set to begin Sept. 1.
