The Hood River Police Department is asking people with information related to the Oct. 6 death of Cecilia Campuzano Ortiz, 23, to contact a detective.

Although the cause of Ortiz’s death has not been made public, officers have confirmed that an investigation is underway. She was found at her Montello Avenue residence after friends asked officers to perform a welfare check.
