Restrictions designed to make parking easier for shoppers in the downtown The Dalles area during the holiday season are now in effect between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Motorists are prohibited from parking on the streets of downtown The Dalles while at their place of employment, business profession or residence on Second and Third streets, and their cross streets, and portions of Fourth Street.
