January 28, 12 p.m.—Two vehicle, minor injuries, Interstate 84, Milepost 74, Wasco.

January 28, 8:51 a.m.—Personnel responded to a smoke scare in the 3200 block of West 7th Street when a man said he felt a warm spot on his wall in the closet that is adjacent to a brick chimney.
No heat or smoke was located in the attic space and the man was advised to have the chimney serviced by a wood stove chimney technician.
January 28, 8:11 p.m.—Personnel responded to an unintentional transmission of a fire alarm in the 700 block of Veterans Drive.
January 28, 10 p.m.—Personnel responded to a building fire in the 800 block of Garden Court. fire was mostly extinguished by one occupant using a garden hose and was contained to the chimney case where the wood stove’s double-sided pipe traveled through the second story of the building.
The fire damaged the roof vent directly above where the chimney chase is located.

The Dalles City
A report was taken in an unknown area Thursday morning for identity theft.
A company in the 1200 block of West Sixth Street reported Thursday morning someone stole Beats earbud headphones worth $100.
Police found the suspect nearby and found the headphones, a large amount of cash, scales, baggies, meth and individually packaged marijuana.
Christopher Ian Armour, 21, The Dalles, was arrested on two charges of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, two charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful delivery of marijuana, providing false information to a police officer, second-degree theft (possession of stolen property), and two charges of probation violation.
A business in the 1200 block of West Sixth Street asked Thursday morning that a man be trespassed for life.
He was upset because he wanted an item that wasn’t for sale and then he threatened a worker by saying, “anyone that looks like you is going to die.” The man left before police arrived and they were unable to locate him.
A caller in the 2600 block of East Second Street reported Thursday afternoon seeing a man walking with what appeared to be a rifle. Police were unable to locate anyone.
Two reports were taken for identity theft Thursday afternoon.
