A Jeep Wrangler drove over a street sign. Driver admitted not paying attention and was cited for careless driving.

Personnel responded to two calls for emergency medical services.
September 11, 2:23 p.m. — Crews responded to a small brush fire at 1011 West 8th St. Fire burned several cedar trees and a 40 by 40 foot area next to a parking lot.
The Dalles City
A wallet was found in a parking lot at an undisclosed location Thursday morning and turned into the department. Officers attempted contact with the owner of the wallet and are holding it for safekeeping.
A car prowl was reported at a location undisclosed by the department Thursday morning. Report taken for theft.
Misuse of a social security number was reported Thursday morning. Victim’s number was being used to by a woman claiming to be the wife of the victim in an attempt to obtain a medical procedure. Report taken for identity theft.
A royal blue Trek bike with “discovery” written under the seat was reported stolen Thursday morning. Report taken for theft.
A store employee at a La Michoacana recorded a subject that stole a bicycle Thursday afternoon. The bike was a BMX style Pur/Sil Roadmaster. Subject was recognized by officers as possibly being involved in a fire behind Oil Can Henry’s the same day.
A car window was broken out of a car at the Oregon Veteran’s Home Thursday afternoon.
A woman was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest Thursday evening in the 400 block of East 7th. Subject threw things at a door and locked herself inside the victim’s basement.
A purse was reported by the foot bridge over Mill Creek at Thompson Park.
A Walgreens gift card was reported stolen from a victim’s vehicle Thursday night.
A man was taken into custody at the Fort Dalles Rodeo grounds early Friday morning for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and interfering with a police officer.
Painted lines in the Google construction parking lot at the Fort Dalles Rodeo grounds were damaged by a vehicle spinning in circles around the lot.
Officers assisted the driver of a vehicle whose wheel had fallen off on Second St. at the Mill Creek overpass.
Wasco County
A box of survey equipment was reported stolen Thursday morning from in the area of Fourth Street and N.E. Williams. Bright yellow with “Copcon” label.

Running the plates of a Ford Taurus, officers identified a subject wanted on a warrant out of Washington. Joseph L. Lamoreaux, 33, 4109 Chenoweth Road, The Dalles, was arrested as a fugitive from another state.
A vehicle was stopped on I84 eastbound, milepost 74, after failing to stay in its lane and a broken license plate light. Impairment was observed and Aaron J. Pray, 24, 3713 West 8th Street The Dalles, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Jorge Valdez, 19, 813 Hostetler, was lodged on charges of interfering with a police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
Chance Widner, 25, 2225 Mosier Creek Rd., was lodged on Thursday morning on charges of theft in the second degree and resisting arrest.
Christopher D. Woody, 29, 1359 Tucker Rd., Hood River was Thursday afternoon on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
Lori A. Henderson, 44, 3116 Yeoman Ave., Vancouver, Wash., was lodged Thursday afternoon and faces charge of theft in the second degree.
Gricelda C. Gonzales, 418 East 7th, The Dalles, was lodged Thursday night on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Rhonda Jean Collins, 31, 1106 Emerson Dr. No. 13, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
David James Jacobsen, 31, Dufur, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
Ryan L. W. Waid, 20, 809 East 13th, The Dalles, was lodged on probation violations Thursday morning.
