Police responded to West
13th and Cherry Heights
streets Wednesday morning
after a caller reported she
was having a custody issue
with her child’s father. An informational
report was
taken and the incident is
under investigation.
A burglary report was
taken Wednesday afternoon
from the 1700 block of East
9th Street.
A first-degree burglary report
was taken Wednesday
afternoon from the 2900
block of Old Dufur Road
after a victim reported
someone broke into his
home and stole some items.
Police responded to the
roundabout Wednesday afternoon
after a vehicle
struck a sign. The suspect
vehicle was found and he
didn’t realize he struck the
sign. A report for public
proper ty damage was
taken.
Michael David Shinnick,
44, The Dalles, was arrested
Wednesday afternoon in the
700 block of West 6th Street
and is accused of postprison
violations.
Eugene Dewayne Emett,
67, The Dalles, was arrested
Wednesday evening during
a traffic stop in the 2400
block of East 14th Place
and is accused of driving
under the influence of intoxicants.
Randy Charles Carstens,
30, Dallesport, Wash., was
a r r e s t e d We d n e s d a y
evening in the 500 block of
Lone Pine Drive on a warrant
of failure to appear.
Wilson Jay Begay, 48,
The Dalles, was arrested
Wednesday evening during
a traffic stop in the 3200
block of Bret Clodfelter Way
and is accused of driving
under the influence of intoxicants.
Wasco County
Deputy responded to the
5500 block of Sevenmile Hill
Road Wednesday morning
after a call reported finding
a dumpsite for garbage. Investigation
determined this
was clippings from a marijuana
grow. A report was
taken and the incident is
under investigation.
Oregon State Police
A male driver was cited
and released for driving
while suspended during a
traffic stop on Interstate 84
eastbound, milepost 92.
The vehicle was impounded.
Jose Antonio Mareno, 38,
Hermiston, was arrested
Wednesday evening during
a traffic stop on Interstate
84 eastbound, milepost 97
and is accused of violation
of a restraining order.
Gilliam County
Kiela Marie Stellings, 44,
Summerville, was arrested
Wednesday evening at Earl
Snell Park and is accused of
unlawful possession of oxycodone
and tampering with
drug records.
Parole and Probation
Mark Richard Fine, 56,
The Dalles, was arrested
Wednesday afternoon in the
community corrections office
and is accused of probation
violation and postprison
violations.
