Accidents

November 14, 2:55 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 197 and Highway 30 junction. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.
November 15, 12:47 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, East 14th and Lewis streets. Driver slid on the icy roads in the area and struck a parked vehicle. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.
November 16, 9:50 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, 800 block of West 10th Street. Alexander Michael Daniell, 25, 4109 Chenowith Rd. Unit A-12, was arrested after striking a parked car and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants and hit and run.
November 17, 8:20 a.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, East 9th and Court streets. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.
Wasco County
November 14, 2:31 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 197 at Five Mile Road turnoff. A report was taken and the vehicle was towed off the road.
November 17, 12:34 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Dufur. Driver had lost control of her vehicle due to the icy conditions and went off a small bridge. The vehicle was towed and a report was taken.
Oregon State Police
State police responded to several minor and a few injury crashes through the gorge over the weekend and Monday due to the icy road conditions.
Fire
Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue
November 16, 3:21 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 1000 block of Vey Way on a report of a kitchen fire. Contact was made with staff who advised they were cleaning a fryer when the back of the unit started on fire.
They put out the fire with an extinguisher prior to arrival.
Personnel also responded to eight calls for emergency medical services on Friday, eight on Saturday, five on Sunday and eight on Monday.

The Dalles City
Catherine Mae Smith, 24, 2700 West 7th St. No. 70, was arrested Friday evening in her home on a Hood River County warrant for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and a circuit court warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Nathan Zane Sandusky, 30, Jonesboro, Arkansas, was arrested early Saturday morning during a traffic stop in the 2400 block of West 6th Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
Inez Mae Jackson, 35, White Swan, Wash., was arrested early Saturday morning at the Boat Basin and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and probation violation.
Ryan Carter Ross Fowler, 22, no listed address, was arrested Saturday morning in the 2000 block of West 7th Street and is accused of fourth-degree domestic assault.
A criminal mischief report was taken Saturday morning from the 2800 block of West 7th Street after a victim reported someone spray painted her vehicle.
Scott Anthony Newman, 40, 206 West 11th St., was arrested Saturday evening in the 2700 block of West 7th Street and is accused of felon in possession of a restricted weapon.
Martinez Eugene Charles Jr., 40, White Swan, Wash., was arrested early Sunday morning during a traffic stop in the 400 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was also arrested on a Klickitat County warrant.
Police responded to the 500 block of West 9th Street Sunday afternoon after a caller reported seeing a signed runaway in a store in the area.
The subject was located and taken to the juvenile detention facility; a report was taken.
A theft report was taken Monday afternoon from the 1600 block of East 14th Street.
Brittany Michelle Goodnight, 25, 3230 West 7th St., was arrested Monday afternoon in the community corrections office on a Multnomah County warrant for failure to appear.
Madeline Elizabeth Oberg, 35, 1100 East 9th St., was arrested Monday evening in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street on a municipal court warrant for failure to appear.
A missing persons report was taken Monday evening from the 2700 block of Old Dufur Road after a caller reported her boyfriend had been missing for several weeks; the incident is under investigation.
Roger Judd Campbell, 24, 420 East 12th St., was arrested Monday evening in the 300 block of West 4th Street and is accused of first-degree criminal trespass.
Wasco County
Thomas Lawrence Brace, 35, 4900 Seven Mile Rd., was arrested Monday evening in his home on a circuit court warrant for first-degree aggravated theft.
Robert Allan Schutt, 43, 311 Court St. No. 211, was arrested Monday evening in the 2700 block of West 7th Street on a circuit court warrant for parole violation. He is also accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
Oregon State Police
A male subject was cited and released for driving while suspended Saturday afternoon on the 4850 Forest Service Road. He was also warned of several hunting violations.
Regional Jail
Joshua Eric Lopez, 26, Warm Springs, was booked and released Monday on a circuit court commitment for first-degree failure to appear. Jason Michael Thomas, 38, Madras, was booked and released Monday on a circuit court commitment for second-degree criminal mischief and two counts of a wildlife offense.
Kenneth Arthur Stephens, 27, 121 East 13th St., was jailed Monday on a circuit court commitment for second-degree disorderly conduct.
Parole & Probation
Carlos Michael Holeman, 29, 706 West 8th St., was arrested Friday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
