Accidents
The Dalles City
October 15, 10:21 a.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 197 and Bret Clodfelter Way. One driver was cited for driving while suspended and failure to yield. A report was taken.
October 17, 3:38 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 2400 block of East 10th Street. Crash occurred on private property and the drivers advised they would handle their own damages and part ways.
Wasco County
October 14, 8:16 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 197 near milepost 50. Driver pulled over to let a vehicle pass and spun out of control. A report was taken.
Fire
Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue
October 15, 8:34 a.m. – Crew responded to the 700 block of West 2nd Street on a report of smoke in the area. Upon arrival light smoke was seen coming from a remote area of the lot. A group of homeless subjects were trying to clean up the area by burning garbage. They were advised they could not burn and they extinguished the fire.
October 16, 3:14 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 1100 block of Roberts Street on a report of a burn complaint. Contact was made with a property owner who was having a legal open burn. He was counseled on having a hotter, cleaner burn to avoid smoke disturbances.
Personnel also responded to five calls for emergency medical services on Friday, four on Saturday, five on Sunday and eight on Monday.

The Dalles City
A telephonic harassment report was taken Friday morning from the 1100 block of West 9th Street.
Animal control responded to the 900 block of Pomona Street on a report of a dog at large. The dog was located and returned to its owner. A report was taken.
A runaway report was taken Friday afternoon from the 700 block of Pomona Street.
Shawn Michael Hulbert, 33, The Dalles, was arrested Friday afternoon in the 1600 block of East 9th Street and is accused of improper use of 911 and providing false information to a police officer.
An assault report was taken early Saturday morning from East 13th and Dry Hollow streets after a caller reported he was with a female subject who said she was forced into a vehicle by three males. The incident is under investigation.
Jonnie Earl Mulvaney, 20, The Dalles, was arrested Saturday morning in the 1400 block of Dry Hollow Road and is accused of furnishing alcohol to a minor.
John Micahel Black, 61, The Dalles, was arrested Saturday morning in the 400 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
A burglary report was taken Saturday afternoon from the 2200 block of West 8th Street.
Police responded to the 1200 block of Kelly Avenue Saturday afternoon after staff reported a suspect stole a bag of ice. Suspect was located and cited for theft. A report was taken.
Amber Renee Whitefoot, 28, The Dalles, was arrested Saturday evening near West 8th and Myrtle streets and is accused of two counts of probation violation. Mayleen Adilene Ortez Campos, 27, The Dalles, was also arrested and is accused of two counts of probation violation.
Cary Allen Kublick, 49, The Dalles, was arrested early Sunday morning during a traffic stop near East 3rd and Taylor streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
Rachal Lynn Osburn, 21, Lyle, Wash., was arrested early Sunday morning during a traffic stop near East 3rd and Jefferson streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
A criminal mischief report was taken Sunday afternoon from the 100 block of West 13th Street after a victim reported his vehicle was keyed.
A theft report was taken Sunday evening from the 1200 block of Kelly Avenue after staff reported a male suspect came in and stole some alcohol and fled the store.
Brandon David Johnson, 28, no listed address, was arrested early Monday morning in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of third-degree theft.
A criminal mischief report was taken Monday afternoon from the 1200 block of West 6th Street after a caller reported a suspect was breaking a lid to a dumpster to access it. The incident is under investigation.
Hannah Marie Koops, 35, The Dalles, was arrested Monday evening in the 3500 block of West 2nd Street and is accused of criminal nonsupport.
An assault report was taken Monday evening from the 1200 block of West 6th Street after a caller reported her juvenile son was assaulted by several adult males. The incident is under investigation.
Wasco County
Matthew Stephen Phillips, 24, The Dalles, was arrested Friday morning in the 1700 block of West 6th Street and is accused of unlawful possession of heroin and post-prison violations.
Cory James Sowell, 37, Goldendale, Wash., was arrested early Saturday morning during a traffic stop on East 2nd and Laughlin streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
Deputy made contact with a male subject Saturday evening in Dufur who had a warrant in Coos County. He was cited in lieu of arrested and released. A report was taken.
Deputy responded to the 1200 block of West 6th Street Monday evening on a report of an assault. Victim stated his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend punched him during an altercation. The suspect was cited and released for harassment. A report was taken.
Oregon State Police
Christina Marie Casey, 27, The Dalles, was arrested Sunday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84, milepost 82 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
Ben Ian Frank, 30, The Dalles, was arrested early Tuesday morning near West 7th and Snipes streets and is accused of failure to register as a sex offender.
Gilliam County
Shyan Rae McDaniel, 19, Arlington, was arrested Saturday evening in Arlington and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and providing false information to a police officer. She was also arrested on two warrants for failure to appear.
Caleb Sky Smith, 30, Condon, was arrested early Monday morning and is accused of harassment.
Regional Jail
Brian Allen Smith, 37, Tygh Valley, was jailed Friday on a court commitment for failure to perform the duties of a driver.
Colton Hans Warner, 26, Goldendale, Wash., was transported and jailed Monday on a court commitment for probation violation and a local warrant for first-degree failure to appear.
Parole & Probation
Nicholas Howard Mason, 46, The Dalles, was arrested Friday morning and is accused of probation violation.
Scott James Neet, 35, The Dalles, was arrested Monday evening in the community corrections office and is accused of two counts of probation violation.
