Nov. 6, 12:09 p.m. – A vehicle hit a parked vehicle at East 13th Street and Court Street.
Fire
Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue
Nov. 6, 3 p.m. – Fire crews called to the 900 block of East 7th Street on an unsafe burn pile. Found occupant attending a small burn pile, with water on hand and valid burn permit.
Nov. 6, 3:48 p.m. – Fire crews called to 19th and Dry Hollow on a burn complaint. Unable to find burn.
Nov. 6, 7:52 a.m. – Fire crews responded to fire alarm in 1300 block of West First Street. Alarm sounding, but no fire, cleaning crew was cleaning ceiling tiles around alarm when it started to go off. System malfunction.
Nov. 6, 9:40 p.m. – Fire crews responded to burn complaint in 1600 block of East 10th Street. An occupant with a large open burn said she just got a burn permit that day, but wanted to burn at night so it wouldn’t disturb neighbors. She was told she could only burn in daylight, and the pile was too close to the fence. She extinguished the fire.
Fire crews also responded to three calls for emergency medical service.
Police Reports

A person in the 700 block of West Ninth Street reported Thursday afternoon their garage door was kicked in and a footprint was left behind. Nothing was missing.
A person in the 900 block of Pomona reported suicidal thoughts Thursday afternoon and agreed to go to the hospital.
A woman in the 1900 block of Quinton Street reported harassing texts from an ex Thursday afternoon. Police said there was probable cause to arrest the ex for telephonic harassment.
A business in the 2100 block of West Sixth Street reported two males took a 25 oz. bottle of beer.
A theft report was taken from the 1200 block of West Sixth Street Thursday afternoon.
A contractor in the 1400 block of East 12th Street reported a youth walked across wet cement. The damage was repaired and the contractor contacted the youth’s parents, but also wanted to contact police in case further damage occurred.
A woman in the 1500 block of East Ninth Street called police to report she was pushed and hit in the throat by her son. She did not want to pursue harassment charges.
Wasco County
A vehicle was reported in the ditch Thursday morning on Highway 30 about a mile west of freeway exit 82.
A deputy was dispatched to the regional jail Thursday afternoon, where an inmate said he wanted to report a crime.
A case number was taken for drug activity at an undisclosed location.
A citizen on Mountain View Drive reported Thursday evening someone used her credit card at Best Buy online and Lenova.
A man on West 13th Street reported Thursday evening a radar detector and GPS unit were taken from his unlocked vehicle.
An AT&T rep called police to report a person was making suicidal threats and reported having voices in his head. Deputies went to the person’s address and no one was home.
Oregon State Police
Tamara Lynn Anaya, 45, Portland, was arrested Thursday morning on Interstate 84, milepost 86 eastbound and is accused of unlawful possession of heroin, providing false information to a police officer and failure to appear.
Jennifer Deanna McLaren, 21, 2700 W. 7th St. No. 10, The Dalles, was arrested Thursday afternoon at West Second and Division streets in The Dalles and is accused of unlawful possession of heroin and tampering with evidence.
Jerrod Wayne Miller, 32, 1112 Sunflower St., The Dalles, was arrested at West Sixth and Chenowith Loop Thursday evening and is accused of being a fugitive from Washington.
Cory James Widner, 23, Ashland, was arrested at West Second and Division streets in The Dalles and is accused of two counts of probation violation, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and criminal driving while suspended.
Regional Jail
Walter Frederick Sexton, 40, Seattle, was taken to the regional jail on a transport and is accused of probation violation and failure to appear.
