Hospital Dismissals

Accidents
Wasco County
November 9, 3:56 a.m. – Single vehicle, injury crash, Wamic. Driver was transported to the hospital in The Dalles. A report was taken and the crash is under investigation.
Fire
Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue
November 9, 1:47 p.m. – Crew responded to the 2300 block of East 2nd Street on a report of a brush fire. This was not a brush fire, but a permitted open burn.
November 9, 2:44 p.m. – Crew responded to the 900 block of Mt. Hood Street on a report of a burn complaint.
This was a permitted burn that was following all the regulations.
Personnel also responded to eight calls for emergency medical services.
Police Reports
The Dalles City
A criminal mischief report was taken Wednesday morning from the 1000 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported several vehicles in the car lot had their windows smashed.
A second-degree theft report was taken Wednesday afternoon from the 2800 block of West 7th Street after a caller reported her son’s cell phone was stolen.
Police responded to the 1200 block of East 10th Street Wednesday morning after a caller reported her juvenile son broke into her home and cut his arm. Juvenile was arrested and taken to the juvenile detention facility. A report was taken.
Police responded to East 14th and Kelly streets Wednesday evening on a report of a dog roaming in traffic. The dog was located and lodged at the animal shelter.
Jessica Lynn Kesler, 34, Pullman, Wash., was arrested Wednesday evening during a traffic stop on Interstate 84, exit 82 overpass on a warrant for failure to appear.
Police responded to the 400 block of East 2nd Street Wednesday evening after a deceased animal was in the road. The dog appeared to have been hit by vehicle. The dog was wearing tags and the owner was notified and removed the dog. A report was taken.
Wasco County
Deputy responded to Mosier Wednesday afternoon after a caller reported that two dogs were locked in her chicken coop and have killed all her chickens. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.
Regional Jail
Nikolas Kyle Jest William, 25, Carson, Wash., was jailed Wednesday on a court commitment for unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
Carl Norman Lowe, 50, Parker, Wash., was jailed Wednesday on a Sherman County court commitment for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
Marcos Ethan Lamas, 33, The Dalles, was jailed Wednesday on two local warrants for failure to appear.
