Wasco County
June 16, 3:08 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Ridgetop Road. Driver had a bee fly under his arm causing him to go off the road as he attempted to swat it away. The vehicle caused a small grass fire. A report was taken.
Oregon State Police
June 16, 12:35 p.m. – Single vehicle versus parked car, non-injury crash, East 8th and Laughlin streets. City police officer was backing up from a traffic stop and struck a parked vehicle. There was no damage to the parked vehicle and minimal damage to the patrol car. The crash was logged.

June 16, 12:11 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 2100 block of Dry Hollow Road on a report of a possible ammonia leak at a packing plant in the area. Investigation determined that an ammonia pipe was not struck or damaged. A portable refrigeration unit pressure relieve valve went off and an employee called 911 after failing to get in touch with a supervisor. No problem was found and the unit was not damaged. The roads were closed during the investigation and were reopened.
Personnel also responded to two calls for emergency medical services.

Jacob Wayne Smith, 40, The Dalles, was arrested Tuesday morning in the 2800 block of West 2nd Street and is accused of probation violation.
Daniel Lee Jackson, 65, The Dalles, was arrested Tuesday morning and is accused of probation violation.
A theft report was taken Tuesday afternoon from the 1900 block of West 13th Street after a victim reported his license plates were stolen from his vehicle.
Police responded to the 3600 block of West 10th Street Tuesday afternoon after staff caught a juvenile student smoking marijuana on school grounds. The student was cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and released to his mother.
Cynthia Lee Ike, 23, The Dalles, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 2100 block of West 7th Street and is accused of second-degree criminal trespass. She was also arrested on a local warrant for first-degree failure to appear.
A trespass report was taken Tuesday afternoon from the 1100 block of East 8th Street after a victim reported she was housesitting and a subject who was not allowed to be on the property did. The incident is under investigation.
Miles Glenn Thornton, 46, White Salmon, Wash., was arrested Tuesday evening during a traffic stop at West 6th and Snipes streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
Briar William Kelm, 19, The Dalles, was arrested early Wednesday morning in the 1200 block of Eric Court and is accused of first-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree disorderly conduct.
A death report was taken early Wednesday morning from the 700 block of Scenic Driver after a caller reported finding a subject deceased in their home. The incident is under investigation.
A burglary report was taken early Wednesday morning from the 800 block of West 9th Street after a victim reported someone entered his home and had some items missing from inside.

Richard Leon Schroeder, 31, The Dalles, was arrested Tuesday evening in the 1300 block of West 6th Street on a local warrant for failure to appear.

Geoffrey Jay Poteete, 29, Goldendale, Wash., was arrested early Wednesday morning during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 79 on an out of state warrant.
Gilliam County
Terry Lee Coe, 58, Arlington, was arrested Tuesday evening in Arlington on a local warrant for four counts of second-degree failure to appear.
Regional Jail
Crystal Yvonne Bate, 38, The Dalles, was booked and released Tuesday on a municipal court commitment for telephonic harassment.
Anna Marie Brock, 52, Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, was jailed Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for probation violation.
Brent Lee Waldorf, 24, Madras, was transported and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for probation violation.

Joshua Dale Phillips, 41, The Dalles, was arrested Tuesday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of two counts of parole violation.
Wanda Jane Bryan, 52, The Dalles, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of three counts of probation violation.
