Fire
Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue
May 31, 3:22 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 900 block of Clark Street on a report of a burn complaint. Contact was made with the property owner who was burning yard debris and was educated on the current burn ban. The fire was extinguished.
Personnel also responded to six calls for emergency medical services.

The Dalles City
A theft report was taken Tuesday morning from Interstate 84 near exit 85 after a caller reported she ran out of gas and walked to the gas station. Upon arriving back to her vehicle a window had been broken out and some items were stolen from inside the car.
A theft report was taken Tuesday morning from the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street after a victim reported her purse was stolen from her parked vehicle.
A theft report was taken Tuesday afternoon from the 600 block of East 2nd Street after a victim reported a male subject stole her lotto tickets and cashed them in. The incident is under investigation.
A theft report was taken Tuesday afternoon from Kramer Field after volunteer staff reported the concession stand was broken and all the food items were stolen.
A police officers hold report was taken Tuesday evening from the 1000 block of West 9th Street after a patient attempted to leave and attempted to assault staff.
Kenneth Scott Nyberg, 51, The Dalles, was arrested Tuesday evening at Thompson Park and is accused of probation violation.
Wasco County
A hit and run report was taken Tuesday afternoon from Maupin.
Oregon State Police
A male driver was cited and released for driving while suspended and driving uninsured during a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon on Highway 197 and Bret Clodfelter Way. The vehicle was impounded.
Regional Jail
Anton Anatolyevich Mironichenko, 24, Milwaukie, was jailed Tuesday on a court commitment for felon in possession of a weapon and a wildlife offense.
Parole & Probation
Joshua Aaron Aljaouni, 27, The Dalles, was arrested Tuesday afternoon and is accused of probation violation.
