August 26, 12:42 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, West 14th and Lincoln streets. Officer assisted with information.
August 26, 1:40 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 1500 block of West 6th Street. Officer assisted with information.
Fire
Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue
August 26, 8:13 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 1200 block of West 10th Street on a report of a pull station fire alarm activation. Units were cancelled prior to arrival
August 26, 8:26 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 1100 block of West 5th Place after a caller reported her microwave was making a humming noise while unplugged. The unit was inspected and nothing appeared to be wrong. Owner was advised if she felt uncomfortable with the unit to leave it outside and dispose of it.
Personnel also responded to four calls for emergency medical services.
Police Reports
The Dalles City
A theft report was taken Wednesday morning from the 300 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported his cell phone was stolen.
A runaway report was taken Wednesday morning from the 900 block of East 15th Street.
Juan Miguel Angel Olmos Medina, 20, The Dalles, was arrested Wednesday afternoon and on a warrant for two counts of probation violation.
A criminal mischief report was taken Wednesday afternoon from the 400 block of East 2nd Street after a victim reported a brick was thrown through his window.
Police responded to East 8th and Court streets early Thursday morning after a caller reported suspicious subject in the area. Contact was made with a juvenile female; she was cited for curfew violation and minor in possession of alcohol and released to her mother.
A male subject was contacted early Thursday morning at East 8th and Federal streets. The subject was cited for minor in possession of alcohol.
Police contacted a subject early Thursday morning at West 7th and Myrtle streets after the subject advised he located an item police may be looking for. The property was seized and an informational report was taken.
Wasco County
Deputy responded to Dufur Wednesday afternoon on a report of an altercation. Contact was made with both subjects who had differing sides of the story. Neither wished to pursue any charges and both were counseled on their conduct.
Oregon State Police
A male driver was cited and released for driving while suspended and driving uninsured during a traffic stop Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 109. The vehicle was impounded.
Regional Jail
Rebekah Ann Postema, 32, The Dalles, was jailed Wednesday on a court commitment for two counts of harassment.
Ashley Marie Russell, 26, The Dalles, was transported and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a local warrant for probation violation and parole violation.
