Nov. 21, 3:30 p.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, 600 block of East 3rd Street. Officer assisted with the exchange of information.

Nov. 23, 9:16 p.m. – Vehicle versus pedestrian, injury crash, 1300 block of West 6th Street. A report was taken.

Wasco County

Nov. 21, 11:56 a.m. – Single vehicle, unknown injury crash, Mosier. Road department called in to report a vehicle down an embankment. No driver was located. A report was taken.

Nov. 23, 3:27 a.m. – Single vehicle, unknown injury crash, Forest Service Road 48. Caller reported finding an abandoned vehicle in the ditch. A report was taken.

Nov. 24, 10:28 a.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 197, milepost 35. Driver lost control of vehicle and struck a vehicle that was parked off the highway. A report was taken.

Oregon State Police

Nov. 21, 5:14 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 88. Driver lost control of the vehicle due to standing water on the roadway. The crash was logged.

Nov. 21, 5:14 p.m. – Two vehicle, injury crash, East 3rd and Liberty streets. Driver struck a city police vehicle which was stopped at a stop light. Driver was cited for no operator’s license and following too close. A report was taken.

Nov. 22, 6:18 a.m. – Two vehicle, non-injury crash, Moro. Driver of lead vehicle lost control due to icy conditions. The vehicle behind it was traveling at a high rate of speed and could not avoid the crash. Driver of the lead vehicle was cited for failure to drive within a lane. The rear driver was cited for speeding and no operator’s license. A report was taken.

Nov. 22, 7:18 a.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Highway 97 northbound, milepost 21. Truck driver lost control of his vehicle due to icy conditions.

Nov. 22, 7:24 a.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 70. Driver lost control of the vehicle due to icy conditions, striking the guardrail.

Nov. 22, 1:43 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 71. Driver lost control of the vehicle due to standing water on the roadway.

Nov. 22, 8:05 p.m. – Single vehicle, non-injury crash, Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 71. Driver lost control of the vehicle due to the wet road conditions.

Nov. 24, 12:59 a.m. – Single vehicle, injury crash, Highway 97 southbound, milepost 36. Driver lost control of the vehicle due to black ice, causing the vehicle to roll over. One passenger was ejected from the vehicle and another had to be extricated from the vehicle.

Nov. 24, 8:25 a.m. – Single vehicle, fatal crash, Highway 97 near milepost 40. Vehicle left the roadway for an unknown reason and went down an embankment. Driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Dalles City

A theft report was taken Nov. 21 from the 200 block of East 13th Street after a victim reported her vehicle was broken into overnight and had some items stolen.

Wesley Lee Martens, 34, The Dalles, was arrested Nov. 21 near West 6th and Webber streets and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. He was also arrested on a warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Animal control responded to West 7th and Floral street Nov. 21 after a caller reported three dogs at large. The dogs were located and taken to the local shelter. A report was taken.

Animal control responded to the 1200 block of East 12th Street Nov. 21 after a caller reported she believes her cat was poisoned. A report was taken.

A death report was taken Nov. 21 from the 2500 block of West 2nd Street.

A theft report was taken Nov. 21 from the 1200 block of West 10th Street after staff reported some money was stolen from a resident.

A damage to city property report was taken Nov. 21 from East 3rd and Liberty streets after a patrol car was rear-ended. State police handled the crash investigation.

Cecilia Marie Gomez, 19, The Dalles, was arrested Nov. 22 in the 1300 block of East 18th Street and is accused of probation violation.

Joshual Belec, 22, The Dalles, was arrested Nov. 22 in the 1000 block of Walnut Street on a warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Stephen Randal Shockey, 27, The Dalles, was arrested Nov. 22 in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was also arrested on two warrants for second-degree failure to appear.

A stolen vehicle report was taken Nov. 22 from the 1300 block of Jefferson Street.

Andrea Lynn Galvan, 37, The Dalles, was arrested Nov. 22 in the 1700 block of West 6th Street and is accused of probation violation.

A burglary report was taken Nov. 23 from the 1700 block of Oakwood Drive after a caller reported a construction site had some equipment stolen.

A sex crimes report was taken from The Dalles Nov. 23.

A theft report was taken Nov. 23 from the 200 block of East 4th Street after a victim reported her vehicle was broken into and her purse stolen.

A death report was taken Nov. 23 from the 3300 block of Columbia View Driver.

A hit and run report was taken Nov. 23 from West 10th and Webber streets.

Police made contact with a male subject Nov. 24 near West 3rd and Lincoln streets. Subject was cited and released for being in possession of alcohol. A report was taken.

A runaway report was taken Nov. 24 from the 2800 block of West 7th Street.

An agency assist report was take Nov. 24 from the 1500 block of East 9th Street after Klickitat County requested police make contact with the next of kin of a deceased subject.

A stolen vehicle report was taken Nov. 24 from the 3200 block of Bret Clodfelter Way.

Alonzo Brenan Cisneros, 23, Lake Oswego, was arrested Nov. 24 near West 10th and Lorenzen streets and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants and failure to perform the duties of a driver.

Police responded to the 200 block of West 14th Street Nov. 25 after a caller reported her son was intoxicated and causing an issue. Juvenile male was located and cited for minor in possession of alcohol. A report was taken.

Police responded to the 2500 block of West 10th Street Nov. 25 after a caller reported a female suspect just dropped off a strange bag for her son. It was determined the bag contained drugs and a report was taken.

A burglary report was taken Nov. 25 from the 200 block of Jefferson Street after a caller reported a business had been broken into.

A found property report was taken Nov. 25 from the 1500 block of East 14th Street after a caller reported a bicycle was left on his property.

Wasco County

A fraud report was taken Nov. 21 from Mosier after a victim reported her debit card information was used to make an online purchase.

A stolen vehicle report was taken Nov. 21 from Highway 197 near milepost 52.

Michael James Miles Jr., 34, The Dalles, was arrested Nov. 26 near East 3rd and Madison streets and is accused of third-degree theft and two counts of first-degree criminal trespass.

Oregon State Police

A hit and run report was taken Nov. 21 from Highway 97 southbound, milepost 18.

Ryan Donald Pursley, 32, Boise, Idaho, was arrested Nov. 23 during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 92 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

A female driver was cited and released for possession of a controlled substance Nov. 25 during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 76. A report was taken.

Joshua Norman Hall, 37, The Dalles, was jailed Nov. 21 on a court commitment for a drug court sanction.

Joel Robert Austin, 25, Maupin, was arrested Nov. 21 in the community corrections office and is accused of four counts of probation violation.
