Aug. 9, 5:31 p.m. – Crew responded to the 1500 block of East 13th Street on a report of a fire alarm. Contact was made with the occupant who was cooking and set the alarm off. Occupant couldn’t remember the code to the alarm. The alarm was reset and no problem was found.

Aug. 11, 6:08 a.m. – Crew responded to the 3800 block of Crates Way on a rekindle of a small fire. The fire was mopped up.

Aug. 11, 11:36 a.m. – Crew responded to Hood River on a request for mutual aid assistance on a structure fire.

Aug. 11, 4:37 p.m. – Crew responded to the 1400 block of West 6th Street on a report of a fire alarm. No problem was found and the alarm was reset.

Aug. 12, 9:05 p.m. – Crew responded to the 3300 block of West 7th Street on a report of smoke coming from a building. It was determined the smoke was coming from a smoker barbeque and there was no problem.

The agency also responded to three calls for emergency medical services on Aug. 9, six on Aug. 10, six on Aug. 11, and 11 on Aug. 12.

The Dalles City

A burglary report was taken Aug. 9 from the 600 block of East 3rd Street after an employee reported two donations boxes were forcefully entered and damage was done to the security camera.

A missing persons report was taken Aug. 9 from the 1500 block of East 11th Street.

Animal control responded to the 700 block of West 6th Street Aug. 9 on a report of a dog at large. The dog was located and lodged at the local shelter. A report was taken.

A hit and run report was taken Aug. 9 from the 1400 block of West 6th Street.

Melissa Ann Barr, 28, The Dalles, was arrested Aug. 10 near East 5th and Washington streets and is accused of fourth-degree domestic assault.

A hit and run report was taken Aug. 10 from the 400 block of Washington Street.

A theft report was taken Aug. 10 from the 700 block of Richland Court.

A theft report was taken Aug. 10 from the 600 block of East 3rd Street after a victim reported a female suspect fled the store with unpaid merchandise.

Christopher John Drake, 27, The Dalles, was arrested Aug. 10 in the 1000 block of Pomona Street and is accused of violation of a restraining order.

A theft report was taken Aug. 10 from the 500 block of East 7th Street after a victim reported some equipment was stolen from her property.

A runaway report was taken Aug. 10 from the 400 block of East 11th Street. The juvenile returned home later in the evening.

A death report was taken Aug. 10 from the 500 block of West 6th Street.

A criminal mischief report was taken Aug. 10 from the 2600 block of West 6th Street after a victim reported her vehicle was egged.

A criminal mischief report was taken Aug. 11 from the 3400 block of Crates Way after a caller reported a vehicle parked in the lot was broken into.

A stolen vehicle report was taken Aug. 11 from the 200 block of West 10th Street.

A death report was taken Aug. 11 from the 700 block of West 14th Street.

A death report was taken Aug. 11 from the train tracks near West 2nd and Terminal streets after railroad staff reported a truck struck a trespasser.

Ronald Leroy Madorin, 53, Portland, was arrested Aug. 11 in the 1900 block of East 19th Street and is accused of second-degree assault.

A criminal mischief report was taken Aug. 12 from West 10th and Liberty streets after a victim reported a window to her vehicle was broken.

Dylan Robert Lowe, 24, The Dalles, was arrested Aug. 12 near East 17th and Kelly streets and is accused of second-degree disorderly conduct.

Wasco County

Deputies were alerted Aug. 7 that subjects were target shooting along Highway 97 at milepost 30.

A woman living on Old Dufur Road reported Aug. 7 that her 13-year-old son was missing. He was last seen at Riverfront Park. While talking to dispatch, the woman said the teen had been found on the beach.

Suspicious activity was reported Aug. 7 near a Taylor Lake industrial development. He said it sounded like someone was loading steel into the back of a truck, but he was hiding and afraid to look in case they saw him. The company reported that it had given permission for a male subject to pick up scrap metal.

A resident in the 4500 block of Highway 30 reported Aug. 7 that a young man had been speeding by on a motorcycle in excess of 100 miles per hour for the last three days. No activity was noted when deputies sat at the scene.

A theft report was taken Aug. 9 from the 5900 block of Cherry Heights Road after a victim reported some mail was stolen from her mailbox.

Deputy responded to Celilo Village Aug. 9 after a caller reported some malnourished horses. Contact was made with a subject who advised the horses belonged to his parents and he was feeding them while they were out of town. A report was taken.

A telephonic harassment report was taken Aug. 9 from Dufur after a caller reported a subject continues to text her daughter after being told not to. The incident is under investigation.

Deputy responded to the 3500 block of Acorn Road Aug. 11 on a report of a female subject breaking things in a home. A criminal mischief report was taken.

A male subject was located near the north junction of the Deschutes River Aug. 11 and was cited and released for menacing. A report was taken.

A stolen vehicle report was taken Aug. 11 from the 5000 block of Cherry Heights Road.

David Alex Johnson, 25, The Dalles, was arrested Aug. 12 in the 2200 block of Steele Road and is accused of attempting to elude a police officer, reckless driving, and recklessly endangering another person.

Oregon State Police

David Brazovan, 32, Portland, was arrested Aug. 10 during a traffics stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 76 and is accused of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, first-degree criminal mischief, and possession of burglary tools.

Ryan Barton Shuman, 40, Boise, Idaho, was arrested Aug. 11 during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 88 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants, depositing burning material in a forest or on the highway, second-degree criminal mischief, and resisting arrest.

Trooper responded to Highway 197 near milespot 23 Aug. 11 after a caller reported garbage all over the road. The dump site was located and it contained identifying material of a possible suspect. The suspect was contacted in Wamic and cited for illegal dumping. Suspect stated he would return to the area and pickup the mess. A report was taken.

John David Eneas, 31, Oregon City, was arrested Aug. 11 during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 73 on a Washington County Warrant for failure to appear.

Ralph Ayala Villanueva, 58, Toppenish, Wash., was arrested Aug. 11 during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 73 on a warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Atina Rene Tanner, 36, Gresham, was arrested Aug. 11 during a traffic stop on Highway 197, milepost 2 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Austin Moses Howtopat, 56, Wapato, Wash., was arrested Aug. 12 during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 eastbound, milepost 85 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.

Donald A. Martin Jr., was arrested Aug. 12 during a traffic stop on Interstate 84 westbound, milepost 71 and is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Earl Carlisle McCormack, 27, of Portland was jailed Aug. 4 after being arrested in Sherman County for first-degree criminal trespass and a probation violation. Jeremy Leroy Stryker, 42, of Albany was jailed Aug. 3 for failure to appear in a Gilliam County Court.

Pedro Benjamin Guzman Ortega, 27, of Portland was booked and release Aug. 3 for driving while suspended in Wasco County.

Wendi Laurie Cunningham, 50, of Anaconda, Mont., was jailed Aug. 3 for failure to appear in a Gilliam County Court.

Cleveland Matthew Phillips, 44, of Hermiston was jailed Aug. 8 in Wasco County for a post-prison supervision sanction.

William Jack Midland, 39, address unlisted, was jailed Aug.8 in Wasco County for a probation violation.

Alana Faye Seidel, 28, of The Dalles was jailed Aug. 8 for a probation violation.

Dakota James Christopher, 22, of The Dalles was jailed Aug. 8 for probation violation.

Sarah Sue Casey, 32, of The Dalles was jailed Aug. 8 for a probation violation.

David James Jacobsen, 35, of The Dalles wws jailed Aug. 8 for a post-prison supervision sanction.

Shana Marie Henry, 38, of The Dalles was jailed Aug. 8 for a post-prison supervision sanction.

Danielle Marie Pantano, 35, of The Dalles, was jailed Aug. 8 for fourth-degree assault, first-degree criminal mistreatment, two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and possession of methamphetamine.

Chad Eugene Reece, 47, of The Dalles was jailed Aug. 7 for second-degree failure to appear.

David James Sendejas, 26, of The Dalles was jailed Aug. 7 for a post-prison supervision sanction and probation violation.

Otto Brandon Paulette, 42, of The Dalles was booked Aug. 8 by The Dalles officers for DUII – Alcohol.

Gustavo Adolfo Cervantes Castro, 24, The Dalles, was booked and released Aug. 10 on a court commitment for unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Annette Marie Miller, 42, The Dalles, was booked and released Aug. 10 on a court commitment for unlawful use of a weapon and menacing.

Emily Rose Toy, 26, no listed address, was jailed Aug. 11 after turning herself in on a warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

Jordan Vincent Brennan, 24, The Dalles, was arrested Aug. 6 at the parole and probation office and is accused of probation violation.

Steven Joseph Sprague, 47, The Dalles, was arrested Aug. 9 in the community corrections office and is accused of two counts of probation violation.
