Accidents
Wasco County
February 4, 11:30 – Single vehicle, injury crash, Tygh Ridge near Center Ridge Road. Driver wrecked his vehicle in the area and rolled over into a ditch. A report was taken.
Fire
Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue
February 4, 7:43 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 1200 block of West 10th Street on a report of a smoke alarm activation. Nothing was showing upon arrival. Contact was made with staff who advised there was no fire and that a resident burnt some food in their unit. The unit was checked and it was confirmed that burnt food set the alarm off. No problem was found.
Personnel also responded to nine calls for emergency medical services.

An informational report was taken from the 800 block of East 3rd Street Wednesday morning after an employee reported receiving counterfeit currency from a customer. The incident is under investigation.
A theft report was taken Wednesday morning from the 2200 block of East 12th Street after a caller reported her vehicle had gas stolen from the tank.
An identity theft report was taken Wednesday morning from the 1600 block of Garrison Street after a caller reported someone used her son’s social security number to file taxes.
Amie Ruth Taylor, 38, 108 East 7th St., was arrested Wednesday morning in her home on a Klickitat County warrant.
A hit and run report was taken Wednesday morning from the 1200 block of West 6th Street.
A theft report was taken Wednesday morning from the 500 block of East 7th Street after a victim reported her vehicle was broken into and had some items stolen.
Arturo Perez Salas, 34, 2525 West 2nd St. No. 23, was arrested Wednesday afternoon at the police station and is accused of five counts of violation of a release agreement and being a fugitive of INS.
A harassment report was taken Wednesday afternoon at the 300 block of West 21st Street after a caller reported her juvenile daughter was being harassed physically and verbally at school. The incident is under investigation.
Police responded to the 1000 block of West 5th Place Wednesday evening after a caller reported a disturbance in an apartment. There was no answer upon arrival, officers made entry into the unit but there was no one home. An informational report was taken.
Wasco County
A hit and run report was taken Wednesday morning from Threemile and Steele roads after a passerby observed damage to a telephone box. The incident is under investigation.
Jeremy Roberts Hudson, 29, Mosier, was arrested Wednesday morning at Sevenmile and Chenowith roads and is accused of harassment.
Gilliam County
Nikayla Dawn Peck, 23, no listed address, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Arlington and is accused of eight counts of third-degree rape, five counts of third-degree sodomy, eight counts of contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor, and eight counts of third-degree sexual abuse.
Regional Jail
Kelsey Clarence Kalama, 26, Warm Springs, was transported and jailed Wednesday after being arrested on a circuit court warrant for first-degree failure to appear.
Parole & Probation
Alexis Nichole Goodman, 27, 3604 West 8th St., was arrested Wednesday morning in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
Nicholas Michael Lowe, 33, 1300 East 14th St., was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of two counts of probation violation.
