Aug. 7, 9:18 p.m. – Single vehicle, injury accident Highway 197, milepost 6.5. Vehicle, driven by Forrest Tewee, 30, Warm Springs, crashed the car into a guardrail, exited the vehicle and jumped over the guardrail, falling off a 10-foot embankment where he was lying unconscious. Driver was transported by ambulance to MCMC for minor injuries, were he was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants. The vehicle had minor damage and was released to the owner at the scene.

Personnel responded to seven requests for emergency medical services.

The Dalles City
A bicycle was reported stolen Wednesday afternoon from a residence in the 1200 block of West 8th Street.
A woman in the 1600 block of Garrison Street reported violation of a restraining order. Incident is under investigation.
A man in the 700 block of West 8th Street reported Wednesday afternoon that his garage had been entered sometime in the past two days, and a radio partially removed from a vehicle. Report taken for burglary.
A man covered in ketchup sleeping in a flower bed was trespassed from Festival Park Wednesday afternoon.
Wasco County
A 9mm unloaded handgun was reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of N. Sentosa Lake Road early Wednesday morning.
Deputies removed a dead deer from the creek bridge on Chenowith Creek Road Wednesday night.
A man was reported yelling and tearing an air conditioner out of a window in the 4400 block of Highway 30 Wednesday night. Deputy contacted a man who explained that he had got out of jail and found uninvited people in his home. He removed the air conditioner to get access to the house. He declined to press charges.
