Dee Hill, accidentally shot in the stomach May 16 by her dementia-sufferer husband, former sheriff and police chief Darrell Hill, was released from the hospital June 26, a family member said.

She was released to her family’s care and is staying at a family member’s house, said the family member, who asked not to be identified.
