Chronicle launches youth photo contest

Email up to five photos you've taken to TDCphotos@thedalleschronicle.com with your name, age and contact information or drop off prints at The Chronicle office, 315 Federal St., The Dalles.

We'll publish the photos in The Chronicle over the summer, then judge and award $25 prizes in three age categories: 0-9, 10-14 and 14-18, as well as overall prizes of $100 for first place, $50 for second, and $25 for third.

We'll run the best entries in a special section at the end of summer.

High resolution photos are best, either from a digital camera or later model cell phone.
