An audition for the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) production of Sleeping Beauty will be held Monday, June 15 at The Dalles High School from 10 a.m. to noon. All those auditioning should arrive at 9:30 a.m. and plan to stay for the entire two hours. The play will be performed on Saturday, June 20, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Dalles High School.
The Theatre Company of The Dalles presentation is directed by Scott Simmons. Polehn and Paulsen are lovers who meet in 1951 at a quaint coastal inn in Northern California. The catch? They are both happily married to other people. Since they don’t want to stop seeing each other, they agree to meet once every year at the same inn for a romantic weekend together.
Auditions for the musical version of “Little Shop of Horrors” by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, directed by Linda Beiter, will be at The Dalles Civic Auditorium, 323 E. Fourth St., on Wednesday, July 9 and Thursday, July 10, at 6:30 p.m.
