Call for Artists: Raíces: A Hispanic Heritage Celebration

THE DALLES — This fall, The Dalles Art Center (TDAC) will come alive with color, rhythm, and flavor during its upcoming Hispanic Heritage Exhibit, an immersive, five-week celebration of Latino/a/e/x culture through visual arts, music, dance, food, and storytelling. TDAC is currently seeking visual artists, cultural instructors, performers, and Hispanic-owned food vendors to participate in this vibrant, community-centered event series.

The Sherman County Historical Museum and Moro’s antique store, Moro Now and Then, are sponsors of a book signing with authors Rick Steber and Ava Wilson Saturday, Oct, 18, from 10:30 a.m. to 3p.m. at the Sherman County Historical Museum in Moro.
