Roubaix Cycling Race coming to the gorge

THE DALLES – With the coming spring brings warmer temperatures and the start of the cycling season. When the dust settled in 201,3 the inaugural Gorge Roubaix race in The Dalles ended up with 250 participants, so there is hope that the numbers could continue its upward climb.

Red Cross volunteers head south

The Hood River Chapter of the American Red Cross has sent five experienced disaster volunteers to help with the relief efforts as a result of last week's storms in the southeastern United States.
