Horizon Christian School’s soccer team kicked off its fall season over the weekend at the annual Trout Lake Tournament. The Hawks, who belong to the 3A/2A/1A Special District 5, went 0-2 at the tourney with a 2-0 loss vs. Trout Lake on Friday and a 4-2 loss against City Christian the following morning.

Horizon Christian's soccer team picked its biggest stage of the season to play a complete game. The result was a 2-1 win Friday against Crosshill Christian in the third-place match of the District 5-1A championships.

Offensive scoring balance and improved communication has carried the Horizon Christian soccer team into sole possession of first place atop the District 5 standings midway through the regular season.

Horizon Christian School's boys soccer team opened its District 5 season Thursday with a 7-5 road win at City Christian of Portland. The win brings the team to 2-3 overall (1-0 in league).

Horizon Christian School bounced back from a 0-3 start to its season with a 4-1 road win Wednesday at Southwest Christian in Beaverton.

The focus of the Horizon Christian School soccer team during the next few weeks will be to take care of the little things.
